Crowned ProloguePrologue... The sun was setting on the horizon, bathing the gray stone walls of the kingdom in an orange hue. The guards covered their eyes with their hands to keep out the glare as they walked back and forth across the circular structure. Below them, men began their walk home from a long day at work, eager to return their families and a warm bowl of soup. Children yelled goodbyes to their playmates and ran down the unpaved roads. Their small feet kicked brown colored dust into the air, made visible by the rays of the setting sun. Women were cooking dinner in their fires, awaiting the return of their children from play and tCrowned Prologue

Writer's BlockSo, here I am with writer's block, Trying desperately to make this rhyme. I've not a thing to write about, And I'm sure that's a crime.Writer's Block
My head is blocked with thick cement, My fingers trapped by super glue. And so, I try to entertain, With these words, so amateur and few.
Desperate am I that I must write, A poem of this heinous block, I cannot think of what to write, Umm...I have a dirty sock?
And so you see, I'm horrified, At my own rhyming scheme, That I should add that dirty sock, Well, it's almost a bad dream.

DrowningSurrounded by the darkness... darkness... A million screams so far away... AHHHHH! I'm losing my own sanity... You hear them? I'm getting closer everyday... Almost there... The light is slowly disappearing... ..can't see... My mind is fading down to black... What's going on? I hear them all so loudly jeering... Freak! I feel so empty and so hollow... ...all alone... To think it would end like this for me... Who thought? To drown in mad insanity. HAHAHAHAHA!Drowning
